Christmas Cards

Time to get some cards together for November's Card Classes coming up!  It has been fun creating some that are very simple to put together yet hard not to add too much bling.  We will be creating these on Nov. 7th at Kelly Apartments Community Room in Lewisburg and I will also have them for an event I an doing on November 9th for a program!

October News!

Happy Fall!  There is a lot going on this month and I am getting ready for "Croptoberfest".  It will be October 17th and 18th at the First Baptist Church.  For more information, contact me.  I have created an online gathering for anyone who wants to place an order and can't make it to the two day event.

Swing Card

I have wanted to make one of these swing cards for quite some time and today is the day!  I used the Artiste Cricut Cartridge from CTMH.  On page 52 there are 9 different swing cards you can make!  I have only just begun to have fun with these.  I used Halloween Greetings Holiday, D1605 and Frightfully Fun Holiday, B1453 stamp sets, Scaredy Cats paper, Colonial White ink and Black ink for this card.

I would love to teach you how to make one of these!  Stop in on Sept. 26th at the First Baptist Church and I will teach you how.

It has been a while since I have posted anything.  I have been busy with family that has been visiting from out of state.  We have had some good times and lots of family dinners for about 16+, all at my house!  But now school has started, schedules are getting set and Fall is coming.  There are some AWESOME September specials with Close To My Heart.

My Card Creations

  

This is an "out of the box" use of the August SOTM.  I used the owl's wing to create the flowers.  The centers were stamped in Thistle, Liquid Glass applied to the centers with a Flamingo pink dot added to it.  I layered it onto a left over piece of  Lollidoodle paper, retired.

 

 I made a template with the  Artbooking Cricut Cartridge, page 67.  Then using Honeycomb C1537, I did random stamping and added the sentiment.  Sweet card!

  

This is the Country-Born D1543 stamp set printed with Saddle ink and colored with the new ShinHan markers.  Love the way the markers color!  This one was made with Operation Write Home in mind.

Looking forward to an upcoming workshop on August 15th.

New Month and New Stamp Of the Month!

Chevron Fold Card

This card is made form Free To Be Me paper pack from May.  I embossed the lower half  and sponged two colors, Sorbet and Lagoon inks, over the embossing.  Made a chevron fold to go over top of that then stamped and "fussy cut" the sentiment.  Come to the Summer Workshop, July 25-26, and learn how to make the chevron folds for either a card or a border on a scrapbook page!  Check out my Workshop Dates, Times and Place on the right.

June's Stamp of the Month!

Yay, it's June!

That means summer vacation begins in a few days

and there is a new Stamp of the Month.

Now, I did have to cut the circle and ticket shapes using my

Art Philosophy Cartridge to match my stamps.

I am excited and cannot wait to have some extra time to play with this stamp set.

Oh ... and June brings another CTMH special!
