Happy Times
Color Dare Challenge #192
Happy Times! That is the name of the Paper pack from Close To My Heart for National Scrapbook Month. I used Fern, Canary, Cotton Candy, Glacier, White Daisy and Gold, the colors in the Happy Times Paper Pack. The flower like design from Ornate Blossoms was heat embossed with Gold Embossing powder. I then colored it in with the inks mentioned above using a Blending Pen. The "leaves" were stamped on Fern cardstock with Fern ink. Paper is from the Happy Times paper pack. I love the Gold Foil!
You can get the exclusive Happy Times paper packet for FREE With a qualifying purchase of $60. This fun paper packet, which is available for one month only, features floral designs, gold foil details, and more! You can also purchase this exclusive paper packet at full retail for $14.95 with no purchase requirement. Get the coordinating D-size stamp set, My Acrylix® Happy Times, for $17.95. Orange Orange
This weeks Color Dare Challenge #191 is all about orange! I have been coming up with cards using butterflies and the Your Own Kind of Wonderful for this month's card kit so added an orange one to the group. I used Sorbet, Sunset and Poppy. The colors look so much better in person! I heat embossed the three butterflies in white then used sponge daubers to add the three colors. It was mounted on orange ombre paper from Sangria. It is embellished with coral sequins and the sentiment was stamped with Poppy ink..
Orange is not a color that I use often, so thank you Color Dare for this challenge. I am enjoying the challenges! Thank you design team for the inspiration!

Uniquely You
I have had this retired stamp set for as long as I have been a consultant with Close to My Heart and have not used this part of the set. It just called out to me with these happy colors! This is my Color Dare #190 card. I have used Ruby, Gypsy, Honey and Pear inks only. The top flower was heat embossed in white and the first three colors were applied with sponge daubers. The sentiment was also heat embossed in white and clear Wink of Stella was added to the solid colors and the sentiment.
Supplies used:
Cardstock: Ruby, Gypsy Honey and White Daisy
Inks: Pear, Versa Mark with White heat embossing powder
Stamp set: A Flowering Bunch, SOTM S1306
Cricut Cartridge: Artiste

Young At Heart
Are you young at heart? Doesn't matter your age you know!!!
I got out some stamps from the last Stamp of Approval Young At Heart collection by Catherine Pooler and created these cards. I have a lot of birthdays coming up and everyone always needs birthday cards. That was the main reason I bought the set! It was full of goodies and ready to create great projects as well as opportunity learn some new tricks! There were some great, fun stamp sets, die cuts and a masking sheet. Also a glitter pen. So much fun to pay with. All this was in the box!!
